Kostenlos Lesening Carney, S: What Doesn't Kill UsAutor Scott Carney – Noituisong.com

I read this book on the recommendation of a youtube channel called, The evoloution of Dave I wanted to learn a little about Wim Hof the man and this now rightfully famous and fascinating Wim Hof method This book is about one man and his journey to improve his health and take on physical challenges using the Wim Hof method He will share his experience of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in 2 days That was a very interesting read for some insight into Wim Hof, who was leading the group and his psychology and drive , taking on the Tough guy challenge in the UK very interesting insight into the history of this and its connection with Tough Mudder, just dont mention to Billy Wilson and spending time with people who develop training programmes for the US military to prepare them for extreme conditions and talking with other famous people who have developed training programmes using variations of the Wim Hof method or a similar philosophy to strengthening the body using breath and cold exposure I loved the book for the insight on Wim Hof It was really very fascinating however, the reason I gave it only 3 stars was because this book was about Scott Carney and his style of writing only thinly veils a bit too much self praise, in my opinion but that is just my opinion The book itself is a good read if you want to know a little about Wim Hof before investing in his course. Excellent book The story is so good and you will keep reading it everyday Also you get a lot of health information and fun chapters Definitely recommended Ich bewerte nicht oft B cher, da so etwas mMn immer sehr subjektiv bewertet wird, aber dieses Buch hier fand ich wirklich interessant, logisch schl ssig und ich habe es bisher vielen Menschen empfohlen oder zumindest vom Inhalt erz hlt.Meine seltene Empfehlung Klasse Buch f r alle, die sich mit der Wim Hof Methode besch ftigen und sich aktiv gegen die Verweichlichung der Gesellschaft wehren Absolut lesenswert A New York Times bestseller and a Book of the Year for the Evening Standard and The Times Is getting a little less comfortable the key to living a happier, healthier life When journalist Scott Carney came across a picture of a man in his fifties sitting on a glacier in just his underwear, he assumed it must be a hoax Dutch guru Wim Hof claimed he could control his body temperature using his mind and teach others to do the same Sceptical, Carney signed up to Hof s one week course, not realising that it would be the start of a four year journey to unlock his own evolutionary potential From hyperventilating in a Polish farmhouse to underwater weight training in California, and eventually climbing Mt Kilimanjaro wearing just shorts and running shoes, Carney travelled the world testing out unorthodox methods of body transformation and discovering the science behind them In What Doesn t Kill Us he explains how getting a little less comfortable can help us to unlock our lost evolutionary strength Very interesting book.
